Postcard design chosen as part of promotional campaign for IMRAM Irish Language Literature Festival 2016.
Objective was to emphasise Irish language in the typographic interpretation of text Morse by Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh.
Process involved scanning old, letraset sheets from 1970s and 1980s to convey a message of passing time as morse code is a dated form of communication. Repetition of letters and punctuation is an indicator of the rhythm that machine would make.
